How many faces can one face hold?
Bianca Mann begins with casts of her own face, captured in two expressions: smiling and serious. Through repetition, symmetry and changes of scale, the face becomes a form that each viewer interprets differently.
Made with materials including fibreglass and silicone, the sculptures bring colour and physical presence to the gallery’s white space. Familiar and strange at once, the portrait becomes a place for the imagination.
Dates from published documentation and the gallery’s list are preserved separately.
